I'm originally from Vancouver, Canada. I studied Physics and electrical engineering as an undergraduate, and now I'm aiming for a MS in Mechanical Engineering, all at Stanford. I enjoy tennis, skiing, windsurfing, volleyball, frisbee and football, and watching hockey. I also love traveling, and recently drove from Scotland to Mongolia to raise funds for an orphanage in Ulaanbaatar

Teaching, for me, is a very natural ability. When once asked what teaching experience I had during an interview, I told the interviewer I had none. I only realized later that I had been teaching science labs at the local children's hospital for the past 2 years, and have taught windsurfing for the past 3 years. I have also tutored students in physics and electrical engineering
