About Me:
I'm originally from Chicago, IL, but I am now a fully converted Californian! I love the outdoors, especially the mountains. When I'm not writing code or designing something for work (I'm a Software Engineer for LinkedIn) I am out backpacking, hiking, biking, or doing something else active with friends. When the cold weather hits I like to go to the Symphony with friends or cook soups and other healthy things. I also like to babysit and play with children.

I started tutoring when I was a student at Stanford and I really enjoyed the experience. My father is a math professor and I really appreciated how he always taught me to visualize concepts rather than memorize or repeat steps or equations. To help other students reach that type of understanding brought me great satisfaction.
